When life feels hectic, I seek tranquility. I find that when I thoughtfully consider each action I take throughout the day, I feel more connected with life. And feeling more connected helps me find tranquility. As I focus more of my consciousness on what I am doing, I feel peace.

I remain emotionally present in each moment.

I perform life’s activities with purpose and attention. I consider what I want to achieve and then keep my mind on task. I focus on each of my actions one by one.

If I am washing the car, I think about how much more pleasant it is to ride in a clean car. When I am vacuuming, I reflect on how I am removing the allergens from the room. As I read my novel, I focus on the words and story.

When I am conscious of what I am doing, life is better. My existence is more fulfilling and enriched because I experience life through all my senses.

The life I desire plays out through me and it is truly peaceful.

Today, I live consciously. I notice all the sights, sounds, and smells around me. I focus on the task at hand and do it with deliberation. I know the peace I experience in life blossoms because my life is purposeful.
