Today, I set goals I know I can reach.
Each day, I ensure that I take good care of myself. One of the ways I do this is by setting goals so that I get what I want out of life. To keep my self-esteem thriving, I make these goals ambitious, but possible.
When I set my sights high, I achieve great things. These accomplishments, in turn, help me to feel good about myself, which allows me to set still more ambitious goals.
I trust that I can achieve what I set out to do, so I tackle truly challenging things. I always have my eye on the prize.
I also take small steps when I need to and set small goals – instead of trying to run a marathon or climb a huge mountain right away. This way, I stave off the possibility of disillusionment and ensure that I can achieve what I set out to do.
If I find myself feeling discouraged about a goal, I ask myself if I set my goal appropriately for my skills and abilities. If so, I pick myself up and renew my endeavors. If not, I set a new objective, one that is in keeping with my capabilities.
Today, I am thankful for a realistic perspective. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and I accept both.
I trust that I am capable of great things, but I set reasonable goals for the best results along the way to those great things. Weekly, I reassess my progress and reevaluate my objectives.

2. How did I feel when I accomplished them?
3. Do I have any goals right now that feel overly challenging to me? Can I change anything about them so that they feel more reasonable?
