Affirmation – I embrace exercise each day.
I know that exercising is one of the best ways for me to stay trim and healthy. Because I want to protect my physical well-being, I ensure that exercise is a part of my daily routine.
I vary the kinds of exercise I do from day to day to prevent from getting bored with my routine. Plus, my body needs new challenges to stay healthy.
Whether I walk outdoors, use the treadmill, do calisthenics, practice yoga, ride my bike, kayak, or swim, I enjoy physical activity. I feel an incredible sense of accomplishment when I finish my exercise. I relish that feeling because it reminds me I can do whatever I set out to do. My confidence rises because I commit to exercise.
Making a decision to embrace physical activity each day motivates me in many ways. I look forward to stretching my muscles. Weekly, I check my measurements to determine if I experienced any changes. This reminds me of the importance of eating nutritiously. After all, when I am working so hard physically, I want to be mindful of my food intake.
I allow myself occasional time off from exercise. These episodes ensure my body rests and regenerates successfully. Plus, these periods of relaxation help me build momentum for the next time I exercise intensively.
Today, I feel a wonderful sense of confidence and accomplishment in my ability to continue exercising each day. I plan to try some new methods of exercise to ensure that I remain excited about my daily activity.
