Being Considerate Is A Priority

July 24, 2013 by Johnny

Each day, one of the most important things I can do is be considerate of others. My lifestyle ensures that I interact with people a great deal. I believe I must always think about the thoughts and emotions of others before verbalizing my own.

I realize I do not always have every piece of information about current situations. Therefore, remembering to consider the needs and wishes of others, before I take a certain path, is the wise thing to do.

I am careful to take the feelings of others into account each day because I genuinely care about the people in my life. Even though it is challenging to encounter others when I am experiencing a difficult day, I still focus my efforts on being considerate of them.

Sometimes, others express negative emotions or strongly disagree with me about some issue. When they do, I tell myself they are entitled to their feelings and opinions.

I openly accept and respect the viewpoints of others. I feel proud of the way in which I conduct myself in my interactions with my friends, family members, co-workers, and acquaintances.

When I am caring and concerned about the individuals in my environment, I reap the personal rewards of such behaviors. In essence, life is good because I am considerate of others.

Today, I intend to show special consideration towards everyone I encounter. I firmly believe that if I treat others the way I wish to be treated, I can enjoy a fulfilling life.
