Whenever I look around me, I see something to be thankful for. Gratitude keeps me humble and focused on a simple yet fulfilling life.
I am grateful each morning I wake up to a shining sun. It reminds me of the potential that a new day brings. Many people miss the opportunity to make adjustments by overlooking the blessing of a new day.
When I take a moment to acknowledge a new day, I am reminded that it is unguaranteed to anyone. I treat it like a prized possession.
My job comes with managing challenging employees. It is oftentimes difficult to instill the values of the business in them. They struggle to adjust to new requirements, but they make the effort. That in itself is a blessing for me as a leader.
I am thankful for a team that gives their all towards whatever task they do. Crediting others builds strong collaboration that I am thankful for.
Saying thanks is easy for me. I maintain eye contact. It shows that I am truly appreciative of whatever I receive. It is also a signal that I notice their existence. I am grateful to have others who support me in various ways throughout life.
Today, gratefulness is a recurring theme in each of my experiences. I am humbled by the opportunity to receive anything that someone else sees me as worthy of getting. Life is a true blessing that I avoid taking for granted.
