I dance without reservations.
I celebrate life by freeing myself through dancing. When I dance, I release all my cares and let go of my worries. I am free to move around, jump, shout, and enjoy myself. I feel liberated when I step onto the dance floor.
I enjoy the freeing effects of lifting my hands, throwing my head back and moving to the beat. I liberate myself of the fear of what would others say and allow myself to have a good time.
Dancing is fun because it is an avenue for me to express another side of my personality. When I hit the dance floor, I am looking to have a good time with my friends.
As I raise my hands in the air, I allow my worries to roll off my body. With every step I take, I crush fear and negativity. Dancing gives me a boost of energy and confidence like nothing else can.
There is a time and a season for everything in life. There is a time to work and to be serious, just as there is time to treat myself to some fun. By allowing myself to dance freely, I prove to myself that life is about more than just work.
I release my inhibitions about dancing because the point of dancing is to have a good time. I shut down negative thoughts about my weaknesses on the dance floor. My style of dancing and my ability level are irrelevant to enjoying myself.
Today, I choose to turn up the music and dance like no one is watching. I give myself permission to live, move, and let loose. I sing along and laugh loud enough to drown the critical voice of self-consciousness.
