I take good care of my body each day.
I feel so thankful that I have a healthy, functioning body. Each day, it does so much for me!
Just being awake, upright, and breathing naturally are huge gifts, and I cultivate gratitude for them. Because of this, I take good care of my body each day.
I thrive on nourishing food. My mind is clear and sharp, and my body feels and looks great. I sleep deeply at night and have more energy when I eat right. Therefore, I am sure to put healthy foods into my body.
Healthy eating usually means eating at regular times and choosing a variety of foods. But once in a while, my body wants a treat. Eaten sparingly, I know these do me little harm. So mostly I consume nutritious foods, with a little indulgence here and there. I am happier and healthier for choosing this way of eating.
Also, I am sure to stay physically active. For many people, “exercise” is a dirty word, but for me, it is a means to being as happy and healthy as I can be.
I enjoy living in my body and hope to do so for many years. Therefore, I cultivate physical fitness. This can be as simple as taking a walk! However I exercise, though, I do so regularly.
In addition to healthy eating and plenty of exercise, I think positive thoughts about my body. This is a critical part of taking care of myself.
Today, I am thankful for all that my body does for me. I take good care of my physical self, and I enjoy doing so.
