I learn valuable life lessons from my children
I feel that there is value in every experience, and sometimes lessons come from a surprising place. Even my children teach me important concepts.
When I watch my children move through life, I recognize the value of giving others the benefit of the doubt. When I approach someone without the mindset of judgment, I am able to lead a productive interaction.
My kids also teach me the art of forgiveness. Their examples show me that choosing to share something good with someone opens the door to saying sorry for my actions.
Kids have a zest for life regardless of how they are feeling. Watching them get excited to do the things they love shows me that the same is possible for me. Children teach me to overlook challenges and live a full and happy life.
One valuable lesson that I learn is that there is beauty in each thing that I create. Although I sometimes doubt myself, I stand confidently behind what I produce.
I now know that once I put my efforts into something, it has instant value even if another person struggles to see it. I feel good about my input instead of worrying about how someone else views it.
Today, my children are my light and my guide. I cherish their innocence and forthrightness. My examples for positive and full living come from their little lives and big expressions. I learn a great deal from watching them live authentically.
