I am happy to know that I am in control of my reality.
Each morning, when I awake, I notice my state of being. I choose to wake up happy. I choose to be grateful for my good night’s sleep. I give thanks for this warm bed and a safe home.
I am grateful for this new day.
When I start my day out with gratitude, my whole day goes more smoothly. I notice that nothing bothers me. I notice that there is a flow to traffic, and everyone is safe and in their own lane.
I notice that my interactions with others are easy and comfortable. I seem to flow through the day.
I enjoy the day – every day.
I start to notice even more enjoyable things. I see the blue sky. I feel the gentle breeze. I hear the laughter of children. I smell the flowers. I am enjoying my life.
I look for ways that I can help others enjoy their life more. I look for ways I can make people smile. I practice smiling with my eyes. I remember how to laugh.
I partake in activities that support my happy state of being. I take time to play with the dog. I take a moment to listen to my children. I sit and hold my partner’s hand.
Today, I am grateful that I can create a happy state of being. I choose joy.
