There are many priorities in my life that need my attention, but keeping organized helps me fit everything in.
My family is my biggest priority. Their needs are my responsibility, so I take care of them with urgency. The approach that works for me is planning family and individual activities on a daily basis. This ensures that various things get done.
Family time is one of those things that I insist on each day. I commit one hour each evening to doing things with my kids.
Sometimes just spending time chatting is enough. It keeps our bond as a family strong. I love that my children know that I am available to them. It is easy to balance family time with their own social time when we organize our time together.
Balancing work and wellness is another priority for me. Although my job is demanding, I am conscious about avoiding feeling overworked.
Whenever I feel the pressure of my job setting in, I take a break and hit the gym. That downtime when I take care of my body is rejuvenating. It prepares me to resume my duties at a high level. Planned exercise is an important activity for me.
Today, focusing on organizing my life is beneficial. It causes me to be purposeful in carrying out the things that are important to me. I am able to check off many boxes each day because I prioritize in both my personal and professional life.
