The word “quit” is absent from my vocabulary. I might struggle, toil, or take longer than I planned, but I avoid quitting at all costs. When I quit, I lose. Losing is guaranteed when I quit.
I want to win the game of life, so quitting is off-limits.
One of my greatest qualities is perseverance. I am able to outlast anyone. I continue when others quit. I keep pushing when others relax. I work while others rest.
Regardless of the obstacles in my way, I refuse to quit. I simply keep on moving forward in spite of everything else.
I know how to win. I know how to be successful. I know how to persist in the face of struggle and failure. I am a powerful force that lasts until the bitter end.
My perseverance is rooted in my beliefs. I believe in hard work, determination, and self-confidence.
I believe that the last person standing is the one that receives the biggest prize. I ensure that I deserve the biggest prize.
Today, I persist. I outlast others. I persevere. And I overcome. Today is just another day that I refuse to quit. I am making great progress today.
Self-Reflection Questions:
- When am I most likely to give up? How do I feel after I quit? What can I change that will make me less likely to quit in the future?
- What would happen if I were more committed and determined? What would happen if I were more persistent?
- Are the most successful people I know quitters? What can I learn from them?
