I feel blessed to be human. After living in this world, I recognize how hard it would be to survive if everyone was perfect.
As a human, I have weaknesses. But I also have strengths. My faults and mistakes only impress on my humanity.
I recognize we are all just learning how to live an authentic life. If my life were perfect, I would have fewer growth opportunities.
I believe the real challenge today is living an authentic life with integrity. That is why we are imperfect.
A perfect world means I would miss out on opportunities to appreciate myself or others.
Although perfection is a blessing, my life would be very dull.
So, I let go of perfectionism and accept myself for who I am. My imperfection is a blessing I cherish.
I stop comparing my flaws with those of others. And I acknowledge that I am lovely, just as I am. I let go of any need to be perfect.
I am beautiful, unique, and special, a gift to the world. I am a beautiful and glorious creation, a miracle.
Today, I celebrate myself for being just exactly who I am. I love myself for being imperfect and appreciate my imperfections. I learn from them, laugh at them, honor them, and celebrate them. I love my scars.
