The more I give away, the richer I become. I can afford to be generous.
I share my time. I volunteer to answer the phones at a community hotline or tutor school children online. I drive elderly neighbors to doctor appointments and bring them home cooked meals. I spend an afternoon listening to a friend who needs to talk about a breakup or a new job.
I share my talents. I mentor recent graduates and new hires at work. I teach community Pilates classes or sew masks for homeless shelters.
I share my money and possessions. I make regular donations to causes I believe in. I buy coffee for a stranger and surprise presents for my friends. I pass along favorite books and chocolate chip cookie recipes.
I share my unique strengths. I use my creativity to connect with others and have a positive impact on my world.
I start small. I pick up litter or donate items I seldom use. I collect my spare change at the end of the day to put in tip jars.
Each experience motivates me to give more.
I give in secret. It does not matter if anyone sees what I am doing or thanks me for my efforts. The gratification I feel at making others happy is my main reward. Giving makes me glow inside.
Today, I share my blessings. Helping others makes me happier and more successful. I give from my heart.
