I invest quality time in my friendships. I care for my friends, and I want to spend as much time with them as possible, even when sometimes I feel like I need to do something else.
Even though I may go some time without talking to my friend, I still value our friendship.
I want to spend quality time with them because I cherish my relationships.
When I connect with my friends, I feel good and safe. I can laugh, share stories, and bask in our bond.
I value that my friends and I look out for one another, and that we go places together and help each other. I become stronger when I stay connected.
A friend tells me he feels his soul has been ripped away and that the opportunity to be close to anyone is gone.
This experience makes me sad and also makes me angry. When someone tells me that they feel alone and unloved, it hurts me deeply. That person is hurting inside, and I recognize they need healing, which comes from caring actions.
I think of how much I value my friends, and I remind myself of our times together. The laughs, tears, and memories. The hugs, kisses, and the games.
I remind myself how much I love my friends. I am thankful for their presence.
Today, I focus on investing time and energy into my relationships and strengthening my friendships. I am thankful for my friends.
