I know it is easy for me to fall back into behaviors that I want to avoid.
I forgive myself for succumbing to the fear of standing up for myself when I wanted to end these behaviors, and I forgive those who brought me the temptation to do so.
Now I choose to forgive myself and heal, which means I can avoid going through this pain again. I prefer to forgive myself as I let go of how I used to be.
I learn from my mistakes. I reflect to understand why I felt like I needed to behave unkindly towards myself or another person. I choose to forgive myself for making those choices. I choose to love myself even when I behave unkindly.
I forgive myself and let go of old, negative beliefs that keep me stuck in an unhealthy behavior pattern. I choose to change the way I think and act. Now, I decide to move beyond the thoughts and choices that keep me unhappy.
I change how I speak to myself and show compassion to myself.
I choose to look at my experiences from a new perspective and change my mind to become the type of person I know I can be. Now, I live in a productive manner instead of focusing on lack.
I see the beauty in the world despite the circumstances.
Today, I choose to appreciate my family, friends, and colleagues. I choose to treat each individual with kindness and compassion. I forgive myself and others. Today I choose to be happy.
Self-Reflection Questions:
- Is there anything for which I am resisting forgiving myself?
- How can I forgive myself today?
- What will I choose to do differently tomorrow?
