I am clear with my communication. I ensure that everyone knows what appropriate behavior in my space is. I teach them to be respectful of my space, which then teaches them the importance of respecting their own space.
I am seeing where in the past, if I was unclear with my boundaries, they were often overlooked. I now take responsibility for being clear with my communication on all levels.
As I show more respect towards myself, I am shown more respect from others. I also want to respect the boundaries of others and ask curious questions to ensure that I act appropriately.
I set appropriate boundaries from a place of kindness. I smile and use positive words to show proper behavior around me. I use all my speaking skills to the best of my ability.
I practice my body language. I observe other people’s body language. I listen attentively to others. I listen attentively to my own language patterns and modify my voice to be kind.
Today, I exhibit respectful behavior at work and at home. I make creating excellent boundaries a fun exercise in positive communication.
