As the winter’s snow starts to transform into spring rain, I start to feel the stirrings of hope. The gentle sound of rain helps me wake up to new beginnings. I feel I can reset my time clock to new activities. The fresh rain replenishes my soul.
I am glad to be coming out of the cave of winter. Like a bear waking up from hibernation, I stretch and grow into what is next. I yawn from my long winter’s nap. I start to move. I get motivated.
Now that I have rested and replenished in the quiet of winter, I feel the excitement of spring. Like splashing my face with cold water first thing in the morning, I feel invigorated.
I am ready to get started. I am doing my mental spring cleaning. I dust the cobwebs from my mind. I sweep the old, belabored worries out the door. I scrub the doubt from my mind. My inner house of my mind is squeaky clean.
I go to work on my body. I choose healthy foods. I find the perfect form of exercise to stimulate my body.
I notice a spring in my step!
Today, I am renewed and refreshed. I have a fabulous attitude for this year. I write down my goals. I start moving forward on my projects. By taking the time to rest and replenish, I have restored my vitality. I vigorously stride into spring!
