When I see my life in metaphors, I can observe my life and make adjustments in my beliefs and behaviors from a neutral perspective.
From the observer perspective, I can let go of unhealthy emotions that cloud my judgement. I now make better decisions for my life.
I imagine being a feather floating down the river of life. I notice that I can go swiftly or slowly depending upon my environment. I am at peace with going with the flow. I notice that sometimes, I get stuck swirling in an eddy.
I am at peace with what is.
I sometimes find myself in the rapids. I experience the thrill of life when it goes fast. I am along for the ride.
I notice that sometimes I get pulled under the current. I am tossed and turned but always come up to the surface, wiser for what I have experienced.
I am grateful for what I have learned. I am also grateful that I have come out on top of my world.
I can just as easily see myself in a little bubble. I can let my imagination go wild. I can be a tiny fairy in a bubble on the brook. I can giggle and squeal at the excitement of life.
Today, I am enjoying being creative and imaginative. I am in joy as I float down the river of life.

- What are some new ways to be creative that I haven’t tried before?
