I treat each day like a valuable gift. I track my activities. I start a journal to figure out where my time goes. Being informed helps me to change my habits and make wiser decisions.
I block out time for my top priorities. I take care of the essentials first, like bonding with family and friends and pursuing my personal goals.
I limit distractions. I turn off the TV and check my messages at designated times. I am selective about using social media and taking on new commitments.
I wake up early. A consistent bedtime helps me to start my day refreshed and energetic. I work on my hobbies before breakfast. I arrive at the office ahead of my colleagues, so I can finish tasks faster without interruptions.
I take frequent breaks. I pause before I become fatigued or frustrated.
I use waiting time productively. I read industry publications and return text messages when a doctor’s appointment runs late. I do push-ups or stretch my legs while my coffee brews or my phone call gets put on hold.
I take advantage of technology. I automate taking inventory at work and turning the lights on and off at home. I experiment with online calendars and other apps to find what works for me.
I act intentionally and savor the present moment.
Today, I make the most of the time I have. I create a schedule that reduces stress and allows me to accomplish more.
