I decide what helps me live my life to the fullest. I am free to be happy every day.
Being happy is just another way of saying I am grateful. I practice gratitude which brings me happiness, this, in turn, gives me energy. With more energy, I can have a happier heart. I can live life on my terms.
I take care of myself. I get enough sleep. I go to bed early.
I eat healthy foods and nourish my body.
I focus my mind on ways that serve me better.
When I sense there is room for improvement in life, I take action. I try something new. I experiment, I find joy in the new.
When I catch myself thinking unproductive thoughts, I step back and replace them with kind thoughts. I remind myself that I am worthy of being happy.
I am responsible for all things in my life.
I allow myself to experience the ups and downs of life. I know that there is always an upside. Regardless of how tough a situation appears to be, I know I can handle it.
I am in charge of my happiness. I am in control of my emotions. I see clearly and choose wisely.
Today, I choose to focus on the fact that I have the right to choose how I want to be happy. I am confident that I am capable of making wise choices.
Self-Reflection Questions:
- Which ways can I exhibit my right to be happy today?
